Hi friends! I have wanted to start a blog for several years but never set aside the time to do so...well, now I have finally taken the plunge! I know I may be late to the blogging "game" but I figured why not? I have always had a passion for educating others, but it has been limited to family, friends and patients I have had while working. I have been told many times "Wow, I never knew that!"- whether it was a small tidbit of health-related information, a healthier way to make a recipe, or an innovative DIY (do it yourself) project for the home, crafting, etc. WellnesslifeRN is my way of sharing this information with you! This blog is meant to share my existing knowledge and experience, as well as recipes and other ideas I have found on multiple platforms (Pinterest is my go-to lately) and tried that have worked well. Sharing is caring! Wellness has been linked to better overall health, and includes multiple areas such as nutritious diet, regular exercise, relaxing/unwinding and taking preventive measures that your healthcare provider may recommend. I'm sure you have heard the phrase "treat your body like a temple", and it sounds kind of silly, but it really has some truth. Taking care of your body inside and out, with the most nutritious food, effective exercise and taking care of your mental health will help increase wellness and keep illness at bay.
